About Kawartha Dental Hygiene
The Ontario Government has modernized Dental Hygiene Legislation to
improve public access to care. Dental Hygienists have joined ranks with
Denture Therapists, Physiotherapists, Registered Massage Therapists and
Nurse Practitioners. Dental Hygienists are now able to work independent
of dentists with the passing of Bill 171 on September 1st. 2007.
